Convert your data into information and diagnostics

 

Your control systems (DCSs and PLCs), historians and databases are full of data; this can be used to improve plant performance.

For example, an alarm management system will grab all alarms and events, and then analyze this data to calculate operator load and improve performance in this area. This tool will analyze, diagnose and prioritize actions without interfering with dataflow.

 

Another example is performance supervision; this tool will capture loop data in real time or analyze data from historian to analyze, diagnose and pinpoint problems; it will also calculate performance and other indices.

 

 

A third example is process optimization, which can now be done during normal operation without disturbing operators and without transferring in manual mode.

 

 

Other examples include: asset supervision, web-based data visualisation, and advanced control modeling.
